Palisade™ Matrix
Placental‑Derived Allograft

Palisade™ Matrix is a dual‑membrane allograft harvested from human placenta, combining both amniotic and chorionic layers. It’s engineered using a proprietary drying and sterilization method to retain the natural structural and biochemical properties of placental tissue—making it an advanced biologic wound covering ideal for moderate to deep acute or chronic wounds

Key Benefits

Palisade™ Matrix offers several key benefits for advanced wound care. Its dual-layer structure comprising both amnion and chorion provides a biologically active scaffold that supports tissue regeneration, cellular migration, and angiogenesis.
The matrix retains native extracellular matrix proteins and growth factors, helping to accelerate healing in acute and chronic wounds. It is non-immunogenic, thoroughly sterilized, and ready-to-use, making it a safe and convenient option for clinicians. Designed for ease of application across various care settings, Palisade™ Matrix ensures optimal patient outcomes while minimizing treatment complexity.

Product PROPERTIES

Dual‑Layer Design

  • Amnion: a thinner, compact extracellular matrix (ECM) rich in collagen types I, III, IV, and V, along with fibronectin, laminin, proteoglycans, and hyaluronic acid.
  • Chorion: a slightly thicker, less compact layer—together forming a robust neomatrix for healing.

Preserved ECM & Bioactivity

Palisade™ retains the native ECM and bioactive proteins critical for tissue repair and regeneration.

Safe and Non‑Immunogenic

Derived from donor mothers undergoing full-term C-sections, each donation is FDA-screened and AATB-regulated. Final products are terminally sterilized to achieve a 10^-6 Sterility Assurance Level.

Extended Shelf Life

Palisade™ Matrix is dehydrated and terminally sterilized, allowing for long-term storage without refrigeration, making it ideal for clinics and facilities managing variable wound volumes.
